About the role
888 Plastering is seeking experienced Plasterers to join our team in Pakenham, Victoria. This full-time position is responsible for providing high-quality fibrous plastering services to our single dwelling and medium density residential builders.
What you'll be doing
- Installing plasterboard sheets to ceiling joists and wall frames using appropriate fixing methods
- Measuring, cutting and fitting plasterboard to precise dimensions, including around obstacles such as pipes, ducts and electrical fittings
- Installing decorative cornices, ceiling roses and mouldings to architectural specifications
- Applying base coat and finishing compounds to plasterboard joints using hand tools and mechanical applicators
- Embedding paper or fibreglass tape to reinforce joints
