Town of Edgartown Wastewater Commission $32.54–$42.80 + $5,000 Sign‐On Incentive The Town of Edgartown is hiring for two full‐time, year‐round positions to assist the safe and efficient operations of the wastewater treatment facility and collection system. Positions are 40 hours per week with competitive benefits and training opportunities. Training and experience in chemistry and engineering are preferred. Plant Operator – Responsibilities Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment facility and collection system. Perform daily inspections of plant equipment and machinery, and administer preventive maintenance, repairs, and lubrication. Change and lubricate bearings; adjust belts; perform oil changes and repair mechanical seals. Monitor computer readings and input data into the computer system.
