Job Summary

The Plant Operator is responsible for ensuring the continuous, efficient, and safe operation of the power plant. This includes monitoring and controlling equipment performance, maintaining stable generation output, coordinating with the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), and carrying out preventive maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities Plant Operations

• Operate and monitor all plant systems to maintain continuous operations at maximum capacity.
• Maintain accurate and trustworthy time, production, and performance records.
• Communicate with NGCP-ACC for grid operation coordination, including dispatch output, voltage, and frequency stability.
• Coordinate with ACC during unit synchronization, shutdowns, and power feedback during disturbances or interruptions.
