Position Overview

Ovintiv is looking for a full‑time Plant Operator within the Dawson North Facilities. The role requires an operator who is a role model and aligns with Ovintiv’s core values, driving continuous operational excellence in safety, performance, and culture.

Shift Pattern

7 days on, 7 days off; 12‑hour days.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate in a fast‑paced environment, setting daily priorities received from the Plant Lead Operator.


• Communicate with shift leads and other operators to build a functional team to execute tasks.


• Influence a safe and efficient operation, troubleshoot process problems, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.


• Monitor and control plant and field processing conditions using SCADA control systems.
