Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Plant Operations
- Lead Steel Melting Shop (SMS), Furnace & Rolling Mill operations
- Deliver consistent production exceeding 36,000 MT/month
- Ensure smooth conversion from scrap/sponge iron to finished TMT bars
2. Technical & Process Excellence
- Drive performance of:
- Induction furnaces (uptime, fuel efficiency)
- Rolling mill productivity & yield
- Implement TPM, TQM, Lean Manufacturing, OEE improvements
- Ensure first-time-right quality and process stability
3. Financial & Cost Control (P&L Ownership)
- Own plant-level manufacturing P&L
- Drive reduction in:
- Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
- Rejections, rework, wastage
