Our client, a leading civil engineering, utilities, and infrastructure company, is seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to join their operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, repair, and preparation of a wide range of plant and equipment, ensuring all assets remain safe, compliant, and ready for hire or sale.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment.
* Prepare equipment for hire and sale, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately.
* Complete maintenance records, service documentation, and system updates.
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance both in the workshop and on customer sites.
* Diagnose faults and identify equipment requiring repair, replacement, or disposal.
