Job Description
Our client is a globally known food manufacturer with multiple locations in the US. Due to growth, seeking a Plant Engineer to join the Engineering/Maintenance staff at the plant in NJ. Primary responsibilities include:
+ Implement and optimize automation and controls systems supporting high-speed packaging operations, improving reliability, efficiency, and production performance.
+ Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA, and related industrial automation technologies.
+ Lead engineering projects from planning through implementation, coordinating budgets, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
+ Support maintenance by diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and controls issues while driving preventive maintenance and root cause corrective actions.
+ Ensure compliance with food safety, OSHA, and quality standards while leveraging SQL and automation data to improve operational performance.
