Worthington Steel is seeking a Plant Controls Engineer to support our manufacturing operations in Monroe, Ohio. This is an outstanding opportunity ideal for a driven engineer with 3–5 years of hands‑on PLC programming and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment who enjoys working directly on the plant floor with operators and maintenance teams.

This role is centered on hands‑on plant support, ensuring the reliability and performance of our PLCs, HMIs, drives, and industrial networks through direct troubleshooting and rapid problem solving. Working side‑by‑side with maintenance and operations, the Plant Controls Engineer delivers practical automation improvements that strengthen safety, elevate quality, and maximize equipment uptime.
