Job Description
Drive financial accuracy as a Plant Accountant supporting operations in Fergus and Weyburn. Oversee KPIs, costing, and inventory to ensure precision in monthly reporting.
This role reports directly to the Senior Accounting Manager and focuses on providing timely and accurate financial statements for both the Fergus and Weyburn plants. You will manage detailed KPIs, assist in month-end close activities, and ensure compliance with legal requirements while maintaining supporting documentation for all transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage industrial KPIs, analyze manufacturing variances
• Assist with month-end reconciliations and journal entries
• Support inventory counts and maintain accurate valuation
• Create and close internal orders within SAP
• Track and report spending in manufacturing operations
