The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a command focal point for Digital Materiel management as relates to complex weapon system architectures for the Air Force and Weapon Systems acquisition and sustainment activities. Responsibilities DUTY 1: Develops and recommends command-level systems engineering policy and procedures including those which affect top secret and special access technologies and programs. DUTY 2: Coordinates systems engineering matters with organizations such as AFMC Centers, other services and agencies, DoD, industry, and academia at all classification levels. DUTY 3: Serves as a consultant and expert in engineering work involved in the application of advance theories, concepts, and principles related to development or sustainment of systems.
