Job Description
The Planning & Operations Assistant ensures the smooth, timely, and cost‑efficient flow of products through the entire production cycle. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to align with business needs and sales projections.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop production tasks and schedules based on sales forecasts.
- Plan material requirements to support production schedules.
- Prepare production assembly orders in NAV for all planned runs.
- Create purchase request orders for required materials.
- Monitor production execution and resolve issues promptly.
- Investigate production problems, analyze root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Track inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
