PWT seeks a skilled Planning Forester to join its Forestry & Resources Division. In this role, you will assist the Senior Planning Forester in forest license planning and lead special projects such as inventory management. Your expertise in GIS, timber planning, and forestry regulations is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in forest license planning and operational planning
• Monitor contracts related to forest development and planning
• Design and implement forest engineering plans for projects
• Coordinate special projects including GIS analysis
• Prepare planning reports and strategic plans
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Forestry or related field
• 2-7+ years of forestry planning experience
• Strong knowledge of timber legislation and GIS practices
