Planning Executive (freight forwarder)

Position: Planning Executive Salary: up to $3500 Working Day: Mon-Sat | 9am-5.30pm | 9am-1pm (Alt Sat) (one week of night shift: 5pm-1.30am) Working Location: Alps Ave (nearest MRT Changi Airport) Job Responsibilities: Monitor and plan area for loading of shipment to optimum efficiency. Monitor the freight's progress and make sure all pertinent parties are informed. Closely collaborate with airlines on rate, tracking, and other inquiries. Developing, upholding, and evaluating the selling rate and purchasing from carriers and customers. Ensuring that every shipment is finished and lifted on schedule at the agreed-upon fee with the airline and the customer. Providing the team and stakeholders with a progress report and profit/loss figures. Managing tenders and RFPs. Assist sales in providing the best answers by coordinating with them on sales inquiries.
