Job Description
We're hiring a Planning Engineer on behalf of our utilities client to support a Grid Analytics & Data Modernization team focused on modernizing planning and forecasting capabilities for distribution systems, including DER and DSO planning.
This is a 12‑month contract with a hybrid schedule and a targeted April start.

Hybrid: 2 days per week in office
Location: Vaughan, ON
Target start date: April 13, 2026
What you'll be doing
Support distribution system planning and forecasting initiatives at the system and feeder level
Enable modern planning and forecasting capabilities using data and analytics tools
Define business and technical requirements for planning and forecasting processes
Validate data, models, and results to ensure accuracy within planning toolsets
Support testing, UAT, and training activities tied to new tools and processes
