Planning Engineer (Solar power)

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for ground-mounted solar EPC projects.
• Prepare baseline schedules and update them regularly based on project progress.
• Break down project scope into manageable Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements; define activities, durations, dependencies, and resources.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to establish realistic timelines.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and report slippages, risks, and deviations.
• Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and S-curve charts.
• Prepare resource histograms, track man-hours, and compile productivity reports.
• Interface with contractors and subcontractors to monitor on-site execution progress.
