Planning Engineer - Oil & Gas Projects

Job Purpose

To develop, monitor, and control project schedules for Oil & Gas projects, ensuring timely execution in line with contractual requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities



Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software


Develop baseline programs, manpower histograms, and resource plans


Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly


Identify delays, risks, and critical path activities


Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies


Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and site teams


Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and client presentations
