The Community Development Department is looking for creative and collaborative Senior Planners! In this role, you will help lead the Department’s growing portfolio of long-range planning projects in one of the fastest-growing cities in the State of Washington. You will work in a supportive and creative team environment to help implement the community's vision of a walkable, livable, affordable, and sustainable city. You will assist developers and the public with zoning regulations, collaborate with commissions and regional partners, and help verify compliance with State, Federal, and City land use policies and regulations.

  • Work on Long-range Community Development and planning efforts.
  • Support development and implementation of the City’s Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update.
