Planner & Estimator

Main Purpose of this role

Support the Service Centre with estimations, planning, coordination and successful execution of new spare parts, assemblies, components or equipment for local manufacture.

Your responsibilities

• Extract components and quantities from drawings and provide a total preliminary cost for manufacturing or refurbishment.
• Compile and verify bill of quantities.
• Determine in‑house and outsourcing requirements.
• Set up and complete costing sheets and evaluation sheets.
• Ensure that cost estimates are accurate and in line with the Scope of Work.
• Prepare vendor enquiries and adjudicate/verify offers to incorporate customer and design specifications.
• Set up and maintain a filing system for estimations.
• Liaise with stakeholders from Spares, Project Management, and Engineering regarding technical specifications, requirements and progress on a day‑to‑day basis. ...
