Main Purpose of this role
Support the Service Centre with estimations, planning, coordination and successful execution of new spare parts, assemblies, components or equipment for local manufacture.
Your responsibilities
- Extract components and quantities from drawings and provide a total preliminary cost for manufacturing or refurbishment.
- Compile and verify bill of quantities.
- Determine in‑house and outsourcing requirements.
- Set up and complete costing sheets and evaluation sheets.
- Ensure that cost estimates are accurate and in line with the Scope of Work.
- Prepare vendor enquiries and adjudicate/verify offers to incorporate customer and design specifications.
- Set up and maintain a filing system for estimations.
- Liaise with stakeholders from Spares, Project Management, and Engineering regarding technical specifications, requirements and progress on a day‑to‑day basis.
