Plan Engineer

Job Description :

• Receive information from estimators, review and prepare shop drawings.
• Set up production steps, check all cutting orders before sending them to the CNC machines.
• Minimizing waste while preparing specs of cuts.
• Ensure to meet both specified and non-specified customer expectations and quality requirements.
• Direct the purchasing department about upcoming purchasing requirements regarding size, pieces, quantities, specs, etc
• Lead and observe work of the team.
• Act as a mentor and coach to train, consult and establish a sense of responsibility among the team.

• 5-10 years of experience as senior planning in steel / plate works.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering - mechanical or structural, architect, or related majors.
• Experience in ISO environment.
• Ability to read drawings and grasp conceptual drawings quickly; calculate / draw take-offs
