Pipefitter Apprentice 2nd Year

CEDA is looking for a 2nd year Apprentice Pipefitter to work in our fabrication shop. This position requires candidates to live local to the Bonnyville/Cold Lake area.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in Installation of new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps)
• Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded joints
• Liaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliers
• Cleans condensate traps and equipment strainers
