  • Picking :Removes items from shelves to fulfill customer orders
  • Packing :Prepares items for shipping by packing them into boxes and labeling them
  • Other responsibilities : May also include:
  • Using technology to sort, scan, and prepare orders
    Checking for damage or defects
    Operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet wrappers
    Maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Keeping products organized and in good rotation
  • Following safety protocols
  • Reporting problems
  • Requisitioning merchandise from suppliers
  • Counting and recording stock levels
  • Restocking shelves
  • Tracking shipment arrival and departure times
  • Monitoring product quality
    • Picker packers need to be able to lift up to 40 or 50 lbs, work on their feet, and communicate ...
