Physiotherapist - Dargaville (0.6FTE)

About the position

Provide expert physiotherapy that promotes independence, safety and wellbeing to the patients of Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora, Te Tai Tokerau.

Permanent part‑time position working 24 hours per week, with possible flexibility to increase hours if the applicant is prepared to travel. Work will be predominantly musculoskeletal, providing cover in the General Ward for annual and sick leave.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality physiotherapy services to patients, assess clinical needs, design and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team to achieve client outcomes.

Qualifications

Qualified Physiotherapist with registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand (or eligible for registration) and a current APC.

Sound knowledge of physiotherapy theory and principles of practice, with the ability to assess clients’ needs and take appropriate action.
