Physical Therapy Assistant

Position- Physical Therapist Assistant Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement, manage pain, and improve overall physical function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administers active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, myofascial mobilization, and various modality treatments including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, infrared, ultraviolet, hot/cold packs, and hydrotherapy.

Applies traction techniques to help relieve neck and back pain.

Instructs, motivates, and assists patients in functional mobility activities, including ambulation, transfers, and daily living tasks.

Observes and monitors patients during treatment sessions, compiling and evaluating progress data to report to the Physical Therapist....
