**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

Responsible for the provision of direct patient care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Duties include direct patient care as well as indirect patient services such as documentation, ordering, family training, rounds, and interaction with the interdisciplinary team.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association approved curriculum
+ Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the state board of Physical Therapy
+ AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – required prior to the end of the orientation period
