Physical Therapist

Under general supervision, delivers physical therapy (PT) services through evaluation of patient needs, goal determination and development of treatment plans in accordance with the Maryland Physical Therapy Practice Act. Will demonstrate competency in treating multiple patient populations within the acute care setting.

Education: BS, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Licensures/Certifications: Current Maryland license as a Physical Therapist. Healthcare Provider (CPR Certification).

Experience: At least 1 year experience. Acute care experience preferred.

Skills:

• Knowledge of physical therapy theories, practices and standards
• Skill in oral and written communication
• Ability to evaluate patient function, develop treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
