PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the IS3 DIVISION of NAVBASE VENTURA COUNTY SEC. Responsibilities You will conduct a Vulnerability Assessment (VA) in conjunction with other Anti-terrorism (AT) Working Group members in a collaborative effort. You will update the Physical Security Plan, Loss Prevention Manual, Crisis Response instructions and provide recommendations regarding changes in security specifications. You will advise facility security personnel on matters that require clear-cut explanations of regulations and procedures. You will monitor and revise, as necessary, local procedures for the issuance and control of government property. You will develop and administer an aggressive Loss Prevention Training program for all activity personnel.
