Physical Science Technician

Summary This position will serve as a Physical Scientist with the Directorate of Technical Support and Emergency Management (DTSEM), in the Industrial Hygiene Chemistry Division of the OSHA Technical Center, located in Sandy, UT. This position is in the bargaining unit. This full performance level of this position is GS-09. This position is NOT remote. Selectee will be expected to report to the office listed above. Responsibilities Duties of the Physical Scientist position include, but are not limited to, the following: For GS-7: Coordinating work with others to ensure timely accomplishment of team tasks. Tracking batches of samples through the preparation procedures. Assist in maintaining stock supplies for sampling and analytical laboratory functions. Learning the requirements for ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation as applied to industrial hygiene sample preparation.
