Job Description
The successful candidate
must hold a British Columbia teaching license and be legally permitted to work in Canada. The candidate must be a positive role model and demonstrate high moral standards for students, consistent with a teacher at an academically oriented, independent school in British Columbia. The selected candidate will be expected to develop and teach the BC curriculum, Physical Geography 12, to support the academic success of all learners. They will develop and implement support services, such as tutoring and volunteer programs, to enhance student learning outcomes. The position is for a single block of teaching during the second school semester, which runs from February to the end of June. The school uses a rotating block schedule, so classes meet at different times during the week. All classes are held on weekdays and are either 55 or 70 minutes long.
