About the Role
We're looking for an experienced PHP/Laravel engineer to help build and scale web applications that are reliable, secure, and maintainable. You'll own backend development end-to-end, collaborate closely with product/front-end/QA, and drive good engineering practices (testing, reviews, performance, clean architecture).
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using PHP (8+) and Laravel (8/9/10+)
Develop and optimize REST APIs (and/or GraphQL if relevant)
Own database design and performance tuning with MySQL/PostgreSQL (indexes, queries, migrations)
Write clean, well-tested code (unit/feature tests) and participate in code reviews
Improve performance, scalability, and reliability (caching, queues, async jobs)
Integrate third-party services (payment gateways, SMS/email, CRMs, etc.)
Ensure security best practices (auth, authorization, OWASP, data validation)
