MCS Group is proud to be working with an international SaaS success story as they seek a mid-level PHP Developer with strong Symfony experience to join a product focused environment. They have offices all over the world but seek talent to work remotely in Ireland/Northern Ireland. This is not an agency or freelance style role. It's a structured software engineering environment with proper processes, CI/CD, testing standards, and long-term product ownership.

The Role

You'll be working within a collaborative, agile engineering team responsible for evolving and scaling a complex PHP-based platform.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and building backend components using PHP (Symfony)
• Developing integrations with ERP systems, payment gateways and APIs
• Contributing to frontend functionality
• Writing automated tests (PHPUnit / Codeception / Cypress)
