Job Description
This role focuses on obtaining high-quality blood samples from patients of all ages using a variety of phlebotomy methods while strictly following regulatory requirements and established collection procedures. The phlebotomist supports inpatient and emergency care by providing timely, accurate specimen collection and point-of-care testing, contributing directly to safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
+ Obtain quality blood samples using capillary, venous, assisted line, and arterial collection methods in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
+ Provide rapid response to medical emergencies by performing timely phlebotomy and related support tasks.
+ Work across multiple hospital campuses in general patient care areas, pediatrics, the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, and Operating Rooms as assigned.
