Responsibilities
+ Perform blood draws using venipuncture techniques, including straight needles and butterfly needles, in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
+ Collect and store blood and other specimens, such as urine or fecal samples, according to established procedures and protocols.
+ Clearly and courteously explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
