Job Description

Aalto University invites applications for a doctoral researcher in the Department of Civil Engineering to work on structural fire engineering of cold-formed steel roof decking systems with perforations. The project spans furnace tests, numerical simulations and full-scale analyses to develop modelling methods and design principles.

The candidate will conduct experimental tests, perform non-linear finite element analyses using Abaqus, and develop design models for fire resistant steel structures
