Cancer Care Alberta (CCA) is seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at the Cross Cancer Institute. You will work to full scope of practice and support safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in all areas of medication distribution.Responsibilities include coordinating and performing sterile & non-sterile compounding, final checks of medications, inventory, and procurement activities. You will check and dispense patient-specific medication orders and repackaged medications. The role also involves mentoring assistants and technicians, training new staff, and precepting students while collaborating closely with pharmacists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Additional responsibilities may include participating in committees or working groups, or special projects as assigned, maintaining department records, statistics and preparing reports as required.
