Summary

Pharmacy Technician 2 is under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists, performs a variety of complex tasks which require a great degree of skills and knowledge of technical pharmaceutical and practices, policies, and procedures of the pharmacy. Provides a high level of assistance in compounding (sterile and non-sterile preparations), distribution and dispensing of medication and other pharmaceutical supplies including but not limited to ointments, powders, and suspensions. May assist in training, coaching and counseling Pharmacy Technician 1.

Responsibilities
