Summary
JOB SUMMARY Performs technical functions in accordance with the scope of this job description. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Graduate or equivalent. Experience: 2080 hours pharmacy technician experience or completion of a pharmacy technician training program offered by a Board-approved, accredited vocational/technical institution, college, branch of the United States armed forces, or Public Health Service. Completion of Pharmacy Department’s Core Sterile Compounding Training Program within sixty (60) days of hire into the position. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Minnesota Technician registration prior to start date. Must be nationally certified as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) upon hire into position or enrolled in pharmacy school.
