Job Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician

Position Purpose

Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director and according to the established procedures of the pharmacy department, the technician assists the pharmacists and other pharmacy personnel in all aspects of hospital pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to the preparation, dispensing and delivery of medications for inpatients and outpatients, performing related duties to maintain work flow such as charging medications, filling Pyxis™ Medstations, crediting and redistributing returns and assisting in the maintenance of inventory levels within the department.
