Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy
  • Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including customer confidentiality and consent management
  • Be clearly identifiable to the public

Internship Opportunities and Training

  • Expose interns to the practice of pharmacy in a community setting
  • Enhance communication skills with patients, employees, and other health care workers
  • Gain knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling skills
  • Teach skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy
  • Prepare future pharmacists to be successful in a community setting
