Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Pharmacy Accounting & Third‑Party Billing Analyst supports clients by analyzing pharmacy receivables and resolving billing issues related to third‑party prescription claims. This role requires strong understanding of pharmacy accounting, insurance payment cycles, and how pharmacy transactions flow into the General Ledger (GL).
Key Responsibilities
Analyze third‑party prescription billing from claim submission through insurance payment
Research pharmacy receivable discrepancies and identify root causes
Understand and explain how pharmacy receivables impact the General Ledger
Review remittances (835), EOBs, and payer responses
Reconcile payments against expected reimbursement
Identify gaps in billing, posting, or reconciliation processes
Support customers by explaining accounting outcomes clearly
Collaborate with billing, payments, and operations teams
Maintain complete documentation of analysis and resolution
