Job Description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To collect and deliver pharmaceutical items/products and related documents within the hospital

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Ensure that collections and deliveries are made from/to units and stores
  • Deliver a messenger and administrative service to the pharmacy

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 10
  • DESIRED EDUCATION: None

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Essential Experience: None
  • Desired experience: 1 – 2 years working in or exposure to a private hospital environment

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Storage conditions of pharmaceutical products
  • Cold chain policy
  • Handling of hazardous substances
