Pharmacy Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and technicians in delivering high-quality patient care
• Greet customers and handle phone inquiries professionally
• Assist with prescription entry, labelling, and packaging
• Accurately count and prepare medications
• Manage inventory, receive shipments, and maintain stock levels
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
• Perform clerical duties and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
• Support daily pharmacy operations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy assistant experience preferred
• Pharmacy Assistant diploma is an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kroll
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment and handle physical tasks
• Flexible availability, including occasional weekends
