FTE – Pharmacist: -month contract

Core Duties
Dispensing and Distribution:
• Oversight of medication distribution from a central pharmacy carousel system to peripheral patient care automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs)
• Product verification for daily restock batches of both bulk Client and patient-specific bin (PSB) medications
• Cold storage monitoring for vaccines and other parenteral agents
• Controlled Substance dispensing, monitoring, auditing, and reporting
• Ongoing close coordination with other central pharmacists and pharmacy technicians

Medication Order Review: Interpret and review medication orders for appropriateness and transcribe into electronic health record / pharmacy software systems
• Review patient medication regimens for therapeutic duplications, drug-drug interactions, and suboptimal therapy, particularly for admission and discharge medications
