Position Summary

The Health Care Centre Pharmacy is the retail pharmacy located in and owned by Waterloo Regional Health Network. The position offers a unique professional opportunity to work with a multi‑disciplinary health care team in providing pharmaceutical care to community clients. Patient safety is one of our primary objectives, and services are also furnished to outpatients of the Hospital’s specialty clinics and the Regional Cancer Centre. The pharmacy embraces the enhanced scope of practice for pharmacists and actively integrates regulated pharmacy technicians into daily practice.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
  • Current pharmacist license with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, Part A of the Register
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in pharmacy practice
  • Injection certification
  • Willingness to incorporate all aspects of the expanded pharmacist’s scope of practice
