Pharmacist Position

We have a full‑time pharmacist position (32 to 40 hours per week) available in our Penticton, British Columbia location at #161 – 2111 Main Street, Penticton, BC Canada V2A 6W6. The hourly wage is $61.00 - $64.00.

Responsibilities

• Checking prescriptions for proper dosage
• Ensuring proper preparation, packaging, distribution and storage of vaccines, serums, biologicals and other drugs and pharmaceuticals
• Dispensing prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals and advise them on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage
• Advising customers on selection and use of non‑prescription medication
• Maintaining medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs
