A pharmacist opportunity is available for a 13-week contract in Nipomo, CA, supporting a facility that includes 60 acute care beds and over 100 long-term care beds. The role offers a variable schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily during days and afternoons.

Responsibilities include:

• Order verification with accuracy and attention to detail


• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency


• Consulting with physicians and nurses to provide medication expertise


• Applying pharmacokinetics knowledge in patient care decisions


• Utilizing Altera Sunrise software for pharmacy operations, with training provided

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license


• Current or recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred
