Seeking an experienced Pharmacist to support a 100-bed community hospital in a northern suburb of New York City. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic schedule with variable days and afternoon shifts over a 13-week assignment starting ASAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow compliance
- Collaborate with physicians to provide pharmaceutical consultations
- Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient therapy
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Active New York State Pharmacist license
- Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience
