Job Description

Part Time Personal Support Worker (PSW) – Community Care in Hamilton and surrounding areas

Schedule : Every other Saturday and Sunday 2pm-10pm

Qualifications and Acceptance

  • Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
  • RN or RPN
  • WBC nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
  • Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
  • Foreign trained healthcare professional – Nurse

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle for daily work
  • Meet immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, and Tetanus
  • Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
  • Current Standard CPR level C certificate
  • Availability to work 11:00pm-7:00am every other Saturday and Sunday
  • Physical ability to lift up to approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walk, climb stairs, stand, bend, reach, and move frequently
