Job Description

Position: Personal Support Worker Day School Classroom Teacher and Placement Coordinator

Course codes: HHD30, TOJ4C, TPJ3C/4C, TPJ4C8/9, and TPJ2OE

Locations:

Port Perry: September 2, 2025 - June 26, 2026

Beaverton: New Site Starting January 30, 2026 - June 26, 2026

Monday - Friday

7.5 hours per day (classes run dependent on student registration)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
  • Certificate of Qualification/ Interim Certificate of Qualification (must be in good standing) from the Ontario College of Teachers

Desired:

  • Adult and Continuing Education Experience
  • Senior Basic Qualifications, Tech Qualifications
  • Experience teaching on Desire2Learn (D2L) platform as the course is run on D2L with adult students attending in person, on-line, and/or asynchronously.
