Personal Care Assistant

New Bridge Learning Centre, New Bridge School, Oldham, Lancashire, OL8 3PH

Position: Permanent, Full-time; salary: £24,796 per annum.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care support to adults and children, including assistance with daily living activities.
  • Assist with feeding, supervision, and overall wellbeing of young people.
  • Perform manual handling safely, including the use of hoist equipment after training.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in health and care work with adults or children; experience in an educational setting is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift manually and operate hoist equipment safely.
  • Full DBS check, eligibility to work in the UK, and commitment to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
